Dortmund - Borussia Dortmund dismissed rumors that Shinji Kagawa was going to leave the Bundesliga champions in the transfer market this summer. Dortmund confirmed that Kagawa was sold.
Earlier this week, a Japanese media said, Shinji Kagawa was approached by Manchester United. And the players also claim to be interested, if the offer came to him.
Kagawa own claim to have not received an official offer from the Premier League champions. However, he would consider his offer, if the offer is really coming.
This news immediately got a response from Dortmund. The club was nicknamed Die Schwarzgelben it was confirmed that the Japanese players are not sold.
"The issue was not a topic for us. Kagawa not sold,"said general manager Michael Zorc Dortmund was quoted as saying by AFP.
Zorc added that the club management is now preparing a new agreement for Kagawa. Currently 22-year player under contract until 2013.
"Our ambition is to extend the contract as soon as possible Shinji. When he returned from vacation, we will soon discuss this in a calm atmosphere," complete Zorc.
